Perro Bravo is on the loose again! They’re the non-headlining band that caused a massive encore at the California Roots Festival earlier this year w/ the Skunk Records 25th Anniversary. They will be embarking on a tour next month. They’re from the same city that saw the rise of Sublime and Skunk Records, the infamous L.B.C.

They’re hitting the West Coast of California during the month of November for a few shows. Although it’s a short five show run, it’s going to be a fun time for everyone involved. The tour begins in Long Beach at Alex’s Bar where the band will be performing a special show to commemorate the life of the late Isaiah “Ikey” Owens. That very same day the band will be traveling to San Diego to play 1654126_10152231772543118_302311649_nat the iconic Winston’s bar in Ocean Beach. Opening for them will be Ocean Beach’s C-Money and The Players. C-Money was the trumpet player for Slightly Stoopid, who like C-Money, are also from Ocean Beach.

After that, Perro Bravo will head northbound to play at Old Princeton Landing in Half Moon Bay, California. Burnt and Nesta will both be opening for that show on Saturday, November 8. The next day Perro Bravo will be playing Old Cayuco’s Tavern in Cayuco, California for an early afternoon show.

The short little run will end back in Southern California at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach on Friday, November 14.

The three-piece band, from Long Beach, California, has been playing together for years. However, they’ve played under the name Perro Bravo since 2010. The band has two vinyl-only releases under their belts, with a third in the works. The band managed to sell-out every show during the Skunk Records 25th Anniversary run earlier this year, which ended at the California Roots Festival in Monterey, California. Most recently, the band was featured on the Head Same Remains The Change, Vol. 6 that featured the iconic “Livin’ In Time (Headchange Remix),” and “Make a Change (Headchange Edit).”

Unfortunately for all you young readers out there, every show in this run will be 21+. Those lucky enough to be of age will undoubtedly get a glimpse at a couple of unreleased songs that will make their way unto the new album. Speaking of the new album, Kyle McDonald from Slightly Stoopid recently made his way up to Long Beach from San Diego to collaborate on some tracks. That alone should give fans another reason to be excited.
