In our most recent story on the new Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, we listed the varied dining options, so today we wanted to share the resort’s latest update on the opening of the property’s eighth and final food and beverage venue, JWB Prime Steak and Seafood. Part of what’s exciting is that the restaurant is an entirely new concept introduced by the Margaritaville brand headed by the balladeer himself, Jimmy Buffett.

According to resort General Manager Cate Farmer, “This restaurant carefully combines the very best elements of the Margaritaville lifestyle in an intimate and casual yet sophisticated atmosphere we believe people will find truly refreshing.” The resort’s executive chef is Andres Teran.

JWB, named after James (Jimmy) William Buffett, is located in the main lobby of the new Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, which officially opened in November 2015. With decor featuring authentic yet upscale South Florida touches, the restaurant features a full bar, a main dining room that can seats 135 guests plud s private dining room available for small groups and business or social functions. There’s a well-stocked wine cellar wall and open-air kitchen as well. Walls of handpicked reclaimed brick compliment aged hardwood floors and tropically inspired elegant deep ocean blue drapes. Venetian plaster walls and European glass mosaics brighten the space, highlighting a 30-foot-long work of original art. Unique bar stools are upholstered with imprinted rum label fabrics modeled after long-gone distilleries in the Caribbean. That was the first thing that caught our eyes on our visit.
