Last year I sold my brand new JK Rubicon Hard Rock and got into an electric car. I missed the Jeep almost immediately, but it took until last week to admit that to myself. This time around I bought a TJ Rubicon, a 2004 model with 108K miles. Mechanically its in great condition. Looks great too, but being 13 years old its starting to show its age in places. Its already outfitted for off-roading with a 2″ lift, 33″ mud tires, winch, and hi-lift jack. I plan to make this Jeep my own with mods and do some off road camping, as well as it being my daily driver. This will be a simple build, keeping things mostly stock, but enhanced where it counts.
First thing I did when I bought her last week was to drive up Pikes Peak. An amazing first day. Here is one of the first photos I took.
